Igniting Match Study

A few days ago I set out to capture a match during its ignition.  This study turned out to be incredibly frustrating because I could never capture exactly what I wanted.  So, I give up.  Here is one of the ones I captured today (all color is as-shot):

So, the one thing I've really wanted since falling ill has been beer and pizza. So, what do I get as a gift while still on bed-rest?  Beer, of course.  I'll have to wait 6-weeks to enjoy this one...

Went outside today for the first time in days...went about three feet to get this shot

Was going to shoot medicine again today as promised but didn't feel like putting all the damn pills back in their bottles.  So, closest thing to bed was a CD.

My first cell-phone captured shot on this blog, and of course I went abstract.  A little bit of a blue hue added in post-production.
