Almost didn't have a chance to photograph 4th of July fireworks this year; a group of us rented kayaks and went into the open water to watch the largest show in the area (trying to shoot while bouncing around in the waves wasn't an option).  To try to get something captured for the blog, I went to a nearby town's small fireworks show and just barely got set-up in time to capture a few shots before the show ended.  More obstructions in the shot than I'd prefer, but at least it was a good show.
